You might have noticed the unusual fabric pick on my cutting table underneath this week's block. It's my new long term project and it will have Jen Kingwell's new line - Winkipop, Christopher Wilson Tate's Regency Zarafa, Ruby Star's Warp Weft Wovens, some Jen Kingwell basics, and some shot cottons. Whew! I'm emphasizing LONG TERM and it will be hand pieced and English Paper Pieced. Oh, and I'm still waiting on fabrics that I've ordered to fit in. Why use 100 fabrics when 200 might be better?
When I opened up the Warp Weft Woven bundle with lots of yummy wovens in many different weights - I saved the four heavy linen pieces (with that wonderfully yellow wonky salvage) and hemmed them for new dinner napkins.
Most of the rest of the bundle will be in the fabric pick above... It's good, every once in awhile, to do something a little unexpected.
The exact plans for this quilt..... well, they are still up in the air.
Of course, I do love some RED, WHITE and BLUE and many of those quilts went up on walls this week.
Notice that Gibby has made a pile of his favorite pillows on the end of the sofa. :) This quilt, called Picnic is in the Mix It Up book by the Moda All-Stars.
