Blockheads 3 - Week 10

Know I am thinking of you all out there in the virtual quilt world.  I hope you are safe and healthy.

There is lots of stuff to keep me busy here. Blockheads 3 of course, and getting new quilts and patterns ready.  There is a stack of books on my nightstand which I may actually get to.  Not to mention, long doggie walks, baking, and even jigsaw puzzles. Although, we have learned to pull up the dining room chairs tight to the dining room table. If we don't, Cassie jumps up on a chair and "helps" with the jigsaw puzzle.  So far we are down 2 puzzle pieces - that we know of.

 This will be a new pattern - Hawthorne.

Hawthorne is 50" x 50"

This is Victorious and it's 75" x 75" and uses the printed bunting yardage for the border.

Harbor Springs Fabric

This is puppy Cassie after one of her long walks. She is just the best cheerer-upper ever. Her favorite spot is in Bill's lap. She's attached to him like velcro.

Blockheads 3 - Week 9

If that wasn't enough news..... I received new fabric!- so I can start making quilts.  Our next fabric collection is called Harbor Springs.

Harbor Springs is our red, whites, and blues along with a pinch of pink and a dash of charcoal.  I've cut into it and starting sewing.... You will get Harbor Springs in your favorite quilt shop in August.

As you can see - it will mix with Mackinac Island beautifully.

Blockheads 3 - Week 8

Blockheads 3. 

3 is my favorite number. I wore it on all my softball uniforms.  Did it make me play as well as Dick McAuliffe? Or Alan Trammell? No it did not. Ah, but I digress.  It's my week for Blockheads 3 and I'm happy to show you my block

I'm making all my blocks from my Mackinac Island scraps and they are working together nicely.

Speaking of Mackinac Island, we found another HONOR quilt kit and it's in the Etsy shop. 

Things here are busy. I'm making quilts with our new fabric collection (I'll give you the name and some sneak peaks next week).  In fact, I'm so busy...... this little knucklehead had about 10 seconds of unsupervised time and this is what she came up with.

This is the reason puppies are so cute. If they weren't - nobody would put up with their nonsense.
