This is in Minick and Simpson scraps. Don't look too close. And you know what? Perfection is over-rated.
This is in Bella Solids - I love this one - It's a keeper
Here they are all grouped.....
What else is going on this week..... I finished a long term project. This was my hand work in the evening all this spring and summer. I found myself sketching one day and the next thing you know I had this to show for it.
I am calling this The Good Boy Quilt.... because of this.....
It's hard to see, but it's Gibby sitting on his ottoman with the words "Good Boy" stitched beside it. There are all sorts of little critters in this.
As of right now - there are no plans to make this a pattern. I have had lots of interest on Instagram for a pattern and I will try to seek out some options, but it's a real long shot. The amount of time and money going into producing this pattern would make it too expensive for everyone involved, especially you the consumer, but...... you never know.

Laurie

O.M.G!!! Your Good Boy Quilt is SUPER awesome!!! Yes. I would love to stitch one...yes, I understand the time and money involved in creating a pattern...maybe, perhaps you could offer a sew along kind of thing? That way it's not such a "close to follow" pattern, and folks can adjust elements to fit their home decor? Maybe offer a "booklet" of applique shapes and "general" instructions (guidelines)? Just some thoughts... you really created a magnificent work of art! Absolutely LOVE it!!!
P.S. Your new M&S logo (in blog header) is super as well! :-)
Simply out of this world.
Love that Good Boy quilt! Beautiful work!
Wow! Good Boy is wonderful! I love it---you must have had a lot of fun working on it.
I'm going to keep my fingers (toes too!) crossed hoping you will could possibly change your mind about a pattern for your beautiful quilt?!
Gorgeous quilt. It's a beauty.

Wowsers!!! 'Nuff said.
Lovely blocks
I just love everything about this quilt - amazing! Maybe you could offer it as a block of the month? I've done that with other super-involved quilts, and breaking it down seems to make it more do-able for everyone. At any rate, I'd certainly jump on it :)
Is Gibby a Good Boy for not chasing the cat or the rabbit. A beautiful work of art.
your creation is just gorgeous! love everything about it. Mel
Yes, PLEASE a pattern!!
You might be surprised by just what we would pay for such a pattern. I can think of some other designers who are managing to sell their patterns at quite the price. It is such a fabulous quilt. At the same time, it is nice to have something that is yours and yours alone. Love your stuff. Becky
Magnifique ! J'adore la couleur, la composition, tout ! J'investirais bien du temps et de l'argent dans un tel modèle!
The quilt is there for you to emulate , your own version though. You don’t need a pattern . This is a beautiful example of folk art.
My heart stood still when I saw this quilt! I think it is the pattern I have been looking for and waiting for for such a long time. Your quilt is so beautiful! And naturally I would love to have a pattern. Of course I understand that it's lots and lots of work to make a pattern but perhaps you you could come up with some idea that could help us and make it doable for you. I'd be very happy!
