I have news..... first of all I found some more background fabric for a few more kits. I have added 4 kits to our ETSY page and you can find the kits HERE
And.....I have also added the downloadable pattern to ETSY. The other site that is hosting our downloads is having issues. Ugh. So sorry. So, the pattern quickly was added to ETSY and I will be transferring the downloads from the old site to Etsy. This process will take a few days, but Saint Germain is available now on ETSY.
Thank you everyone for your nice comments, and being flexible about all this.

Saint Germain
While we are still working on the patterns that feature our yet to be debuted fabric collection Grant Park.... There is one pattern ready that isn't dependent on that particular fabric. A scrappy applique quilt, Saint Germain was made mostly from my scrap bin.
The above is the digital version of the quilt - made by the genius Lisa. I was still in progress with the quilt when the above was due for the printer. Here is the top that I finished last week.
I've started the quilting and I'm using the big stitch technique and I expect to be done with it this weekend! Pretty exciting!
The pattern is available for download HERE. The quilt finishes 63" x 70" (so not a huge commitment). This is where all those orange peels I was making last month ended up. I also have cut a kit from the fabrics that I used. Same fabrics as above (the orange peels are made from scraps, so some of those pieces are irregularly cut - but there is more than enough to make this quilt). Yep, only one kit - but it can be found HERE.
This is a wonderful pattern to tackle YOUR stash.
Saint Germain is named after a district in Paris where Polly and I stayed in April. As you can see, it was a very inspiring trip.
THE KIT IS SOLD OUT - BUT I'M FINAGLING MORE FABRIC AND I'LL BE ABLE TO POST SOME MORE KITS ON ETSY IN A FEW DAYS. THANKS EVERYONE!

A Treasure
Remember when we went on and on about our trip to France this spring. We had such a great time! I mean Paris - in the spring - with gorgeous weather. We were so lucky.
Then we headed to Nantes and the spectacular Pour l'Amour du Fil show.

One of Di Ford's lovely quilts |
Not only was it visually stunning - we met so many friends - new and old.
After one of our great dinners out with Kaffe and Brandon a "trade" was suggested. Of course I would trade! Brandon was the recipient of one of my quilts and yesterday in the post, as the British would say, this arrived.
A fabulous scarf knitted by Brandon for ME! He calls it Laurie's Pennants. Thank you Brandon!

Grant Park Winners!
It's good to hear almost everyone has a project in the works. Not having something to work on is not an option for me. It's also nice to know people actually want scraps. I know I can't pass up a good scrap bundle. It's a sickness, I know.
Anyway - here is what you're looking for...... The winners of the boxes of Grant Park scraps are:
Judy in Michigan
Tressa
CindySally67
Ladies, email me HERE. The boxes are already packed and just waiting for your address.

The Most Boring Blog in the Whole Wide World
I noticed that I hadn't posted in a week. Not a whole lot is going on here. But I did download the photos on my phone for the past 7 days and, at the expense of boring you silly....... this is what I have.
Otto was here for his annual visit while his family took a vacation. He was a proper gentleman.
Another trip to the Farmer's Market and another breakfast at Zingerman's - this time a toasted bagel and iced coffee. Yeah summer!
Gibby on one of his many, many play dates. Seriously, if I get a text on my phone it will wake him from a sound sleep. A text usually means that another play date is wanted. This is the sad state of my social life.

My current applique project. Remember my brilliant idea of using an antique red wagon as my coffee table/current project holder? Heh. The wagon is now a rolling PILE of stuff. It needs a tidying up/reorganization badly. Threads, tools, fabrics, etc. This is a new pattern we are working on. As a result of these quiet, boring, put productive few weeks - 4 new patterns will be unveiled later this month.
Also, this was dropped on the porch yesterday.........
The cuttings from our new collection - Grant Park!
How is your summer going? What are you working on? Comment on this or anything at all and you could win a large Priority Mail box jammed packed with these scraps. Comment before midnight Saturday, August 10th and this could be yours.
(What you are looking at is 50 lbs of fabric strips. Yep, that fact that my UPS guy still talks to me must be a confirmation of my charm and good looks. If you are local - email me HERE and you could get the rest of the scraps for your charity quilt project. You must be able come and get the box.)
Thanks Everyone - the rest of the scraps have been claimed - they are going to make Quilts of Valor quilts.
