Independence Trail Winner

Thanks everyone for saying such nice things about Independence Trail. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who has a mental lapse when it comes to laundry. I especially loved Bev's story about the Green Stamps. THAT was a funny story! But, the lucky winner was number 89 - Michelle. Michelle, email me here and this almost 3 lbs of scraps will be coming your way.
We are hard at work here getting our quilts and patterns ready for International Quilt Market in Kansas City in a few weeks. We have a few other things that we will be showing at Market. As someone mentioned in the last post - we have wool too! Yes, 100% wool, in lovely colors and textures for all your rug hooking and wool stitchery needs. Here are the samples.
Lush, rich reds, blues, and neutrals in 24 different wools. We are very excited, and Polly is particularly pumped up about it. She is hard at work designing lots of rugs to showcase these wonderful wools. They should be in your quilt and rug hooking shops this summer.

Congratws to Michelle! Sorry I had 4 posts- all the same. I wasn't trying to get 4 chances! I was using a hotel's computer and it kept telling me that I had to post again. Took ways too long and after the 4th try, I quit. So sorry! I didn't bring my laptop with me for the trip.

Sheesh!! I can't believe that I missed out on the giveaway!!!! But, dang it! Here's my tragic laundry story: We were such lazy childern, that my poor mom would have to hunt down our dirty clothes. One day, Mom brings my clean clothes to my room & she's holding up this teeny tiny . . . something. She says "Who's dolly sweater is this?!?" OH NOOOOOOOO!! It was my brand new - never even worn - waiting for school pictures day to wear it - electric blue - cashmere sweater. I had (lovingly) draped it on the end of my bed and she picked it up with the dirty clothes. Sigh - See? Tragic :)

I love Independence Trail!! And that awesome wool, too! Can't wait for all of the new goodies!!! Yay!!

P.S. Congratulations to Michelle :)

I bought some of these wool layer cakes at the recent MODA open house. Did you put out some specific patterns or ideas using these 10" pieces of wool?
