Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Our family feast is over and good food and conversation was the topic of the day. We hope yours was just as wonderful.Just a short note today to let you know lots of things are coming up in the next week. There will be a book review giveaway, a Moda Designer Blog Hop with several giveaways, and an upcoming kit that will be featured in the next American Patchwork & Quilting magazine. There is lots to prepare for around here.

Me too! The mall on Black Friday? Not even if George Clooney volunteered to drive me there, pay my bills and hold my hand the entire time.

Happy post-Thanksgiving! Mall? Nope, only want to go there to get some great fabric buys. We are finishing the last minute preparations on our town's "Holiday at Burgess Park". Tonight Santa arrives in a parade and the lights go on! DH is downtown working on the giant snowflakes that line the city streets, getting the wood for the fireplace next to Santa's chair,checking the display lights one last time and hoping to be finished by 3. The displays are on each night until New Yr's Eve and it's a lot of work.We are thankful for each and every volunteer that lends a hand. Live reindeer at Santa's house with a fire crackling on Dec. 3rd- it's a very big night! I'm going out to gather ground pine for a wreath with a friend later this afternoon. Our little town goes all out and the people, lights and music are ready! Let's Celebrate!
