Polly, Leigh Ann, Connie and I start out tomorrow morning. My SUV is packed to the gills. This is left over and needs to fit in Leigh Ann's car.

Keep your fingers crossed. Tomorrow, with everything going our way - we will be here.

We might be off the grid, so to speak for a few days. They do have electricity and wireless (no cars of any kind though). We have some jam packed days ahead.
Everyone who stays at the Grand Hotel has to "dress" for dinner. Let me tell ya, that put a crimp in our usual work shop clothing. But, no worries. We clean up pretty well. We promise to behave and dress a bit more appropriately than these two infamous sisters.

You would think with all that money one of them would own a mirror! Have a grand time.
Have a good time!
Have a fabulous, fabulous time! I can't wait to see pictures of you and Polly in your quilted fascinator hats.
Love the mirror comment - and agree with it. Have a great time. We'll miss you in Salt Lake - won't be the same without you.
You both clean up beautifully!
As for the two princesses... they definitely are their mother's daughters. Those hats... really? I mean, seriously... really?
Phew, thank goodness, those hats could get caught in the chandeliers..!
Have a great time..

How beautiful the hotel is! Wow! I know you will have a fantastic time....what was up with the outfits those two were wearing?!!
I soooo wish I could be there. Not only for quilting but to relive "Somewhere In Time" in my mind. Wasn't Christopher Reeve a beautiful man?
Have a blast, and maybe if you do it again my kids will be old enough so I can go!!! :)
I definitely agree with Pookie - you both should have fascinators - just not from Star Trek! Those poor girls.
Hi There, I hope you are having a wonderful time. I wanted to tell you I received my "Scraps" today!!! I can't thank you enough. They are just beautiful! So many great projects waiting to come to life. Thanks again, Hugs...
Any photos of your adventure to share with us readers?
WOW, what a beautiful place! Wish I was there. Hope you have this Quilt Workshop at Mackinac again--but I reckon, since I have a bad break in my ankle, I could sit in one of those rockers on the porch and sip some lemonade with my pain pills and peruse all the fabric! You guys have fun and send pics when you can! Take care! Jeanne L.
