Ready, Set, Go

Gibby is terribly depressed that I am leaving. No, not really. He is just upset in this picture because we have banned him from the kitchen while we are cooking dinner. He likes to help, but he does get underfoot. He is an accident waiting to happen. All 60 lbs of him.

The car is packed and we will be on our way at 6am tomorrow morning. The only thing I know I have forgotten is a roll of quarters for the infamous toll roads in and around Chicago. We will just have to stop for nourishment before we get to the Windy City and stock up on quarters. Leigh Ann is a great travel partner, even if we do need a large supply of caffeine and chocolate for the road.

Keep checking back for market updates and a new kit will be up a week from today. Happy Trails.

Here's how I read the sentence re. you have everything together but...
"a roll of (fat) quarters for tolls"
lol I'm thinking, do they bribe the folks to help them set up w/fat quarters.. lol
lawdy, lawdy...
I seriously need to do something other than quilt on an island for a while... lol
Poor puppy...(She knows you are leaving) as I'm sitting w/my two little ones looking at me because they know it is "walk on the beach" time of day. I can't say the B word w/out them going nuts. or get out of my pj bottoms and tshirt.LOL

Ya'll have fun and be safe. XO

I know it's a quilt show - but since Polly will be there will there be any new rug patterns? Any new wool fabric?? Looking forward to seeing what's there, but more interested in rug hooking and like when Polly shares:)

Have fun!
