Just in time for July 4th - Another Freebie!

Hi

Well Laurie had so much fun with her game and prize - I decided to offer something for you to win, just in time for July 4th. I came across some of our "famous" Eagle bunting, that everyone in the world was looking for a bit back, I found a piece here that is a bit under 3 yards! So you can decorate your home to celebrate the 4th! Have fun, just write in a comment by 6PM tomorrow evening. My granddaughter is coming to town to help me pack and ship all of our Semper Fi kits, and she can do the drawing tomorrow evening. So write in - have some fun.

I'm going to try my luck again LOL. What a great find! I'd love to "find" a spot here to display that bunting as part of my fourth of July decorations.

I found your wonderful blog through the Primitive Folkart quilting group with Yahoo. I love all things Americana, and the more primitive, the better! I was drawn to the Quilt Sampler magazine's latest issue when I saw Laurie's beautiful Paisley Parade medallion quilt on the cover. It has been in my tote bag all week. I'm so inspired that I've been dusting and decorating at home for Summer and the 4th of July - I would love to win your generous offer of the Eagle Bunting!

Wow! How exciting - more giveaways!
Could I use some of your "famous" eagle bunting? I sure could. I just found out my husband invited everyone to our house for a big family reunion 4th of July celebration. I had thought we were going to my sister's cabin...lot's of cooking, cleaning and decorating to do.....

What a cool bunting! It would be fabulous for my Civil War Quilt Club! I find it hard to believe the July 4th is just around the corner. Eeeks! And, I'm glad to you see you both jumping in so quickly on the blogging. Can't wait to see you have to say in the future.

I think I should win the bunting to keep me busy decorating for the 4th instead of getting a bucket of white and dark blue paint and painting all my cherrywood and pine antique furniture so I can make my Texas cottage look like Polly's beach condo. I even want an Airdale like Annie much to the displeasure of my Scottie, Miss Molly. I need cheering up, Tasha Tudor passed away this past week and after looking at Edyth O'Neills book on her red cape for the zillionish time, I decided to google her and see what new rug hooking or books etc she had out and to my sorrow I read that her red cape home burned in 2005. My heart is full of sadness. She is such a talented person, I used to covet her primative paintings 35 years ago. She always had an eye for quality in antiques unlike myself who often bought junkques. Anyhoo, Polly and Edyth could make a chicken coop look fabolous! I would be buying chicken wire next thing I know. Happy 4th to all, happy hearts in texas
