Introducing Miss Scarlet

Meet our latest baby, Miss Scarlet. She'll be in your favorite quilt shop (and maybe here too) in just a few days.  We heard she has started to ship from Dallas.

From left to right we have Glad Tidings, Polly's Stars and Stripes, Fitzgerald, and Patty's Posies - all made with Miss Scarlet.

I'm writing this as a little blizzard is happening here in Ann Arbor.  It seems the perfect environment for a little red and white quilt making.

We have other news too......

Because Polly has retired from teaching and giving workshops - getting Polly's rug hooking patterns was just about impossible.  She is glad to announce that all of her rug patterns are now available HERE.

Most are on the website right now.  All will be there eventually.  You can get Polly's pattern drawn on linen or monk's cloth.  Woolley Fox is the exclusive dealer of Polly Minick Rug Hooking Designs.

All this good news has put us in a giving mood.  Comment here on this post about Miss Scarlet, or rug hooking, or blizzards, or just about anything and I'll send out that Jelly Roll™ that's pictured at the top of this post.  Comment before midnight Saturday the 27th of February and it could be yours.

Checking In

When last we got together I was waiting for a delivery.

It arrived almost 2 weeks ago and I'm just now feeling like I can come up for a breath.  Unfortunately, what is inside the box will have to remain a secret for a bit longer, but I think you'll like it.  We do.

There have been a few long days getting things ready to show you.  Several rotary blades have been retired and this ironing board cover that was installed in August is done. Over. Finis.
Yuck.

We recovered it just a few minutes ago.
I'm ready to start the last couple projects this weekend.  It's almost a shame to schmutz up those polka dots.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day all you sweeties out there!

Gibby is looking forward to a house guest. He asked me to post this.

Laurie
