Gifts in a Jiffy - Part II

We have your back here at Moda.  You want the perfect gift for a quilter - or non quilter?? Look no further than FRIVOLS!

This is Frivol #2 - the Polka Dot and Paisley Frivol by yours truly.  Look how nicely it plays with the next Minick and Simpson collection - Miss Scarlet.

But I digress..... You want a gift for a quilter - The Frivol all packaged up in it's tin box is practically irresistible.  Seriously, have you picked one up yet? It is quite satisfying to hold in your hands and imagine ripping open the cellophane and getting down to business.

Do you need a gift for a non-quilter?  You have time to MAKE the quilt inside the irresistible tin - and gift the complete quilt.

I'm starting one today......
YOU can start one next week - We are here to help with your holiday gifting - just comment here about Frivols, gifts, gifting, Holidays, or whatever - and make your comment before midnight Friday December 4th - and this will be sent right out to you. Plenty of time.

Laters,

Laurie

Why do I have this sudden urge to sew a little something for everyone I know on Dec 1????? Happens every year and sad to say very few get something hand sewn on Christmas day. I love handmade over store bought. It is Always a grand idea but failing miserably. Every year I think about it and then always just end up buying something because before I know it it is the week of Christmas. Sweet little Frivols though have sent me into that dreamy state again. Love anything in a tin : ) Thank you . Love what you do : ) Merry Christmas! Janita

Wasn't sure about Frivols at first but from what I've seen recently they are just TOO cool!! LOVE this Polka Dot & Paisley line but then I've a sucker for ANYTHING with paisley. Christmas would be perfect if there was a Frivols under the tree .... {{{hint, hint, hint}}} Linda at Canends@Hotmail.com

I just love the Frivols. I did order the Polka Dots and Paisley one for myself and absolutely am enchanted by it. What a great marketing idea.

My small quilt group is making charity projects as gifts for kids for Christmas and I think this would work just perfectly. We're making tic, tac, toe mats. They are so cute and fun to make.

Now, I'd really like to get another Frijol one for a good quilt buddy, who is also a huge Minick and Simpson fan. We both love red, white/cream, and blue. Can't wait for the Miss Scarlett one to come out. Have always wanted to make a red and white quilt and this would be a good start.

Thanks so much for all you do for us traditional quilters.

I have been wishing for a Frivol tin and one that contains your fabric and pattern would be awesome. I love to make quilty things for my friends. Often, my quilt friends never make anything for themselves - always giving their work away. So, they are the perfect recipients for a hand-made gift from me. Love your ideas - the towels are a great idea.
