Lexington

Lexington is here for us to play with and make some quilts.  The hardworking Moda salesmen (and women) will be taking these out in a few weeks to show the shop owners.  You are getting a sneak peak here. Lexington is a group of saturated denim blues, cream shirtings, and gold accents.  We love it.
Here is some of my strip piecing …...
These are all the Fat Quarters spread out on my cutting table, waiting to be chosen for my next quilt.

Looky, what the fabric fairies at Moda sent along to me - it's the new Linen Mochi Dots and Solids by Momo for Moda Fabrics.  These will be a staple in the catalog.  They are a dreamy weight and they are a linen and cotton blend.  This is just a wee sample of the colors available.  Oh, that cream on putty polka dot……. This will find a way into my quilts.  Wouldn't it be a great background for appliqué blocks?

Well, it's back to work……

Your new line looks beautiful! I love those blues!! And the text prints :0) I can't wait to see the quilts you design for this new line!!
The polka dot fabrics look fun to use. I'm curious how the fabric will handle for hand applique with it having linen in it. I'd be worried it would turn into a wrinkly mess. I hope you will share with us how it goes when you get to trying it.

The colors are gorgeous! I am working on a quilt right now that, actually on and off for a couple of years now, that these colors would beautiful in. Will you have these on sale on your site? We don't have a local quilt shop so I have to do most of my fabric buying online. Please let me know. Again, congratulations on you new line - it's elegant and beautiful!
