I am taking the day off as I was up until 2am watching The Detroit Tigers clinch the 2011 MLB American League Central Division. I know that means nothing to most of you, but it's kind of a big deal for me. Hey, I stayed up until 2am. It must have been important.

I wish I could have watched that game. I recently moved to KY and can't see the Tigers unless they play the White Sox or unless we pay for some hugely expensive sports channel. Go Tigers!
I can relate. We are hoping the Milw Brewers will be in the playoffs this year. Looks great for them right now, but who knows what will happen. I would stay up late too. I think our "magic" number is now 5. Go Brewers!

I fell asleep so didn't see them clinch it --- but did enjoy the emotion of the manager and players after. Now we hope they will go far in the playoffs!!
