I am finally done posting pictures of our whirlwind trip to New York. Thanks for indulging us. Polly wants to go back in March. This is why.
A quilt show sponsored by the American Folk Art Museum. But.... because of the epic size of the show (650 red and white quilts!!!!) it will be held in the Park Avenue Armory instead of the museum. Save the date, indeed.

I just asked my g.f. if she wanted to go to NYC for this. I'm not getting any takers, so I might make the trek on my own. This seems too amazing to pass up. Thanks for sharing the picture. Happy Thanksgiving

I really enjoyed seeing the exhibit at the AFAM and now I need to go back in and see the Star quilts.
You need to come back to NYC to see these quilts and the second part of the quilt exhibit at the AFAM

Wish I could - remarkable! And entry is free too!!! An idea: do you think the presenters could be prevailed upon to gift you a catologue raisonee or two and maybe some other goodies for you to give away - what a promotion that would be for them!!!!

Wow I will save the date for that. Bret has to travel to VA for work, we could easy take an extra day or two to see that. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.. on to Christmas!!!
