Save The Date!

We are delighted to announce a workshop/seminar that will happen next spring. Things are progressing quickly, but registration isn't open until January 2nd 2011. So, mark both dates in your 2011 calendar. On January 2nd, email Jackie Compton at jcompton@torchlake.com to register and mark off May 6, 7, and 8 for your glorious weekend on Mackinac Island and the impossible to describe, unless you have been there - Grand Hotel.

Hope to see you there!

Laurie

This would be a dream come true trip for me. I was raised in Michigan (Battle Creek)and I now live in California. I remember going to Macinac Island when I was little - the bridge wasn't even built yet!!! Macinac Island in the spring, lilacs blooming, the Grand Hotel - Priceless!!!

The hotel from Somewhere in Time! I was just thinking about it and the music.

Wish I could go, but it is too far to drive!

The weekend before Market?

You're killing me! I will just have to hear all about it since :::boohoo::: I won't be able to go.

Or maybe you planned it that way. ;)

You do realize that you may be stitching in the snow, don't you??? That would be gorgeous too!

Ladies~ You don't want to miss this!!! There would be nothing better than Laurie and Polly, a bunch of quilters & rug hookers being at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw!!! This is what heaven would look like! Make this your Mother's Day gift to yourself!!! Definately a "once in a lifetime" experience!!!
