Ducks In A Row

Yes, we are trying to get all our ducks in a row. It is one week away from International Quilt Market in Houston. You know, that place where we all flock to to see what's new in quilting and to see old friends and make new ones.... and to take pictures on our phones to send back to you all reading this. Our new patterns arrived from the printer yesterday and today will be spent getting out all of our pending shipments. This is the new stuff. You can find them here. Shop owners, you can email me here too and I'll let you know the requirements for wholesale orders. Of course, they will be available from your Moda salesperson too.

Speaking of Moda...... do you know they have a new blog? Moda...The Cutting Table.

What else??? Remember to go to PKM's blog next week and get all the links to all of us blogger types posting from Houston. Yes, thanks to PKM, next week is the busiest blog week of the year.

It's getting all Halloweeny here. The leaves are falling and the morning walks are aided with jackets and sweaters. A lovely time of year. Well, except for yesterday morning. It was spooky. Gibby and I were walking in the sunshine and passing by the city's water treatment plant when we heard something like, well... a baby crying. But not a human baby. It was this little fellow looking down on us. Yikes. We skedaddled.
Keep it Scary, and keep coming back. Look for a Minick and Simpson give-away soon.

May I asked what fabric line(s) you used for the Liberty Road Pattern? I absolutely LOVE it and want to use similar fabrics to make one. I'll be buying that pattern!

Thanks! All the new patterns shown are made with Charlevoix fabric - which will ship to Quilt Shops in January.

You busy girls you!
And of all things you come upon an opposum.... too funny! Bet you were surprised! They won't hurt you... more afraid of you (I don't know why they say things like that... mostly to help us be less afraid I suppose...) sort of thing. I'm surprised you saw one in the day time! They usually like to hang out at night! Don't they look a bit like bandits?
Have a great time at the show....
busy, hard work but you will enjoy I'm sure. Look forward to living vacariously.... pictures...please!
Thanks.... Have fun! Try not to wear your feet out too terribly!

Oh, dear. I have just come to the conclusion that I must get all of my old projects done before market because all of you designers come up with such wonderful new things!!! I absolutlely love, love, love the Mackinac Race and Liberty Road patterns. Any chance of getting kits? I'd like to do Liberty Road for a Quilts for Valor donation. I'm from Michigan and I went to Mackinac Island BEFORE the bridge was built. Can you say "old as dirt!"

I love them all! Is Janie's Quilt the one you talked about a few months ago with all the circles? You always come up with the best patterns!

Vicky,

No, Janie's Quilt isn't the quilt with the berries. THAT quilt will be shown next year. It will be published in a book Polly and I are writing right now. Look for it on this blog and in quilt shops next summer. It will be published by Kansas City Star. Thanks for asking
