Saturday Morning at the Farmer's Market

TIME: 7:45am Ann Arbor Farmer's Market

WHAT: Weekend groceries

Tonight's menu at Chez Simpson.....

Caprese Salad
With Mozzarella made this morning and Michigan tomatoes
And Zingerman's Olive oil and a fresh baguette to sop it all up with. Corn on the cob to round it out.
Sunday morning's breakfast will be cereal with fresh raspberries and cappuccino made by Barrista Bill. Bon Appetit!

That will be a wonderful meal! I cant' believe that you can get fresh mozzarella at your farmer's market!!!! Wish I was there!

My favorite! Seriously, Laurie, this is absolutely my favorite kind of food/meal.

And Zingerman's is awesome ~ thank goodness for mail order! In fact, the UPS man delivered some bread the other day. I had a craving, a discount code, and a gift card (hmmm...wonder where THAT came from...). I might have to mosey on down to the store and get a few more ingredients to join you in some caprese tonight! Bon appetit!

Laurie, where did you get the mozzarella? I'm in Ann Arbor too.

Zingerman's Deli makes the mozzerella fresh every morning. They also have a small booth in the Farmer's Market every Saturday selling it and some other cheeses. It is WAY better than supermarket mozzerella!
